Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 3 of our Historic's League. This season we move up to the Historic F1's in what promises to be an action pack event. There's no way around it, it's a hard mod and with that comes massive challenges. One of them Finishing and being consistent will be the key to a good season. We see the return of the reverse grid race with this series and now with only two racers per round it add a lot more pressure on staying clean in those opening laps. Expect big thrill, big spills and lots of emotion to come out of this series.

Important #1:
For this track, we are bending the cutting rules slightly.
* turn 1, a wider entry is possible once black and white brake markers at the left are gone. Just don't over do it. Normal rules apply at this point. (don't cross white line with all four wheels)
* turn 2 is a little harder to judge. The single row of brakemarkers at the left, if they are gone, don't plow straight through gravel with all four wheels. At least have tires on the kerbs.
* the following chicane you are allowed to cross the white line with all four wheels but be careful, the solid black tirestacks won't move.
* exiting the fast left-right sequence, you are allowed to cross the white line at the left. The grey concrete will punish you and your laptime enough if you over do it so beware.
Important #2:
Exit pit like shown in images below. You can enter track after the black and white markers, before the cones.
Crossing yellow line marked as 'old' pit exit is allowed. Not while exiting pit tho.
We will have to see/test what happens when the black and white posts get smashed down, possibly blocking pit exit.

SR4L Adviser DjCruicky' Wrote:Only having 12 pit spaces this track, I would advise everyone in warm-up before the race to sit on their pit space and see who you are sharing with. You don't have to do a lap, just press the pit-request button and drive on it. If you sharing then you can discuss with that person when to pit or when not to pit etc.

SR4L Special Event: One lap shootout at Targa Florio with Lola T280[/SIZE]
SR4L presents an (experimental) endurance event, situated in the mountains of Sicily, near Palermo in Italy.
We will be racing our Lola T280 through the villages, mountain roads and open fields of what is called the Targa Florio.
1 lap to show your skills, your guts, your ambition to be the fastest around this +/- 40 minutes roadcourse.
Format:
* The main event will be held during the qualify session, which will be set to 10 minutes.
* All drivers must stay in the lobby, do not enter track before the host says so.
* After 2 minutes the host will start calling the name of the driver, who must then press ''race'', enter track and start lap. You don't need to comply to pit speed, just go!!
* Names will be called at random with a 30 second interval.
* You have only one chance for one lap, drivers having more than 3 laps (outlap, flying lap, inlap) behind their laptime will be disqualified. Beware: going back to lobby and press race again and it's over.
* After 10 minutes, the session ends but you will be able to finish your lap. Nobody will be able to enter track anymore, that's why we choose this format.
* Damage ratio 25%
* Host will inevitably start last 
The driver with the fastest lap wins. 
Naturally, faster drivers will meet slower drivers, especially since drivers will be called at random. Please be careful passing your opponent.
There is a lag issue when entering setup screen. Going back to lobby and entering setup screen again may solve that. I advise you to do most of your setup work prior to the actual event.
Important: If you cut the line at start/finish like I am about to do in image below, rF2 may think you are entering pitlane and thus not record a laptime. If you do your race is finished.

20:00 Gmt Main event (qualify) first driver will start 2 minutes into the session, then the rest, one by one, with 30 second interval.
pls note that main event will start the same time as normal league race 1

Minimum one pit stop required with tyre change. Make sure you practice your stop.
Pit entry is at the long straight, marked by two white signs on the right. In race when pitting, move to the right as early as you can to indicate you are about to pit. Pitlane ends where the red/white fence ends. When exiting, try to keep to the right as much as you can.
In qualify, from the 3 green lanes at the end of pitlane, driving through the one on the right will enable timing on your outlap.
Points System
Drivers and Team points system: 100,80,70,65,60,55,50,45,40,35,30,25,20,15,10,8,6,4,2,1
Drivers will be classified if they completed 7 laps.

You only need to have Pleclair's Ring Tourist version 0.97n installed. In rF2 click on SR4L server 1. Click ''mod'' button, then rF2 will ask for the update. Click ''Get missing components'' and proceed to enter server.
