League update
#1
Hi all,
at the moment we're still waiting for the next build. If by chance it's out this week and we have enough time to test it we will go ahead with the league race. If not we'll have something up and running tonight for a fun event for this coming Sunday. Advice... practice both and be ready for anything this week Wink

Cheers,
Bryan

Yep, waiting for rain to come, we can start testing it in non league races.

Looks like the "delay bug" is fixed, let's hope the CTD's are too (not too optimistic about that)

"The Ardennes Forest had very unpredictable weather and there were parts where it was raining and the track was wet, and other parts where the sun was shining and the track was completely dry. This factor was a commonality on long circuits, but the weather at Spa was always more unpredictable than other long circuits, combined with the fact that it was an ultra-high speed track with all but 1 corner (La Source) being extremely high speed made it one of, if not the most dangerous race track in the world." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_de_...ncorchamps)

Weather is unpredictable at SPA, there could be rain in one race maybe. Would be interesting! 8)

I would rather wait for the drying line to have the 'acceleration' removed before we embrace the wet weather fully. Its currently ridiculous.

Oh, is this accelerated drying line bug still present. I agree with Jason then.

alt tab working atm Smile

Weather will need to be tested but we won't see it used at Spa.

Wonder what this new setting in the Multiplayer.ini file does:
Code:
Allow Race Rejoin="0" // Whether disconnected players are allowed to rejoin the race session
e.

Quote:Added basic race rejoin after disconnect, which must be enabled on the server to work (with the multiplayer.ini setting "Allow Race Rejoin"). Currently you just get a new car in the garage.

Might give that a try but from a guy responding to Nikos bug report over at ISI:
Quote:We tested with Allow Race Rejoin="0" and Allow Race Rejoin="1". Same lags.
