I‘ve just had a look - can’t see anything wrong on the server and it looks as if I am *not* enforcing the use of CSP - so unless there are version inconsistencies between the server and JimmyC, say, I’m not sure what’s wrong.

Thanks for checking, Myles. I've downloaded content from the links you provided, and they seem to work OK offline. When I connect to the server, content begins to load and then goes to error. I'll try it again and see if I can determine what is loading when it crashes. I may need to delete and re-download.

This time, after analyzing all the files with CM and making sure all content is installed, track and cars loaded, but I still got an error message saying: "Checksum failed. You have been kicked out of the race." The same thing happens whether I start from CM or AC.
Getting closer?
AC properties from Steam say:
App ID 244210
Build ID 6945667

If anything is highlighted in RED when you find the server : that's what's missing ...

If anything is highlighted in RED when you find the server : that's what's missing ... Thanks for that explanation. I’ve only included the four cars listed in the first post (Delage, Fiat, Rolland-whatsit, Sunbeam).
I’ve checked the server log and can see the same thing for you, JimmyC - checksum failed.

I added the 4 cars and track, joined ok. It is really worth a look, very unique and classic modding.

Thanks for the tip, kbital. Still getting the same message. I see nothing highlighted in red. I have the four cars and track. I've checked their integrity in CM. I'll try deleting the cars and track and try again.

Deleted and re-installed. Now I'm back to the previous error with all the text. It's great fun off line.

I’ll load up the later 1927 Delage ( http://Delage 1927 Linky) at the same track. Remember to download and install the 1923 driver model (but you should have that for the existing cars…) ( http://Driver 23 linky)

Success at last! Thank you. However, you do understand: this is the much more powerful 1928 Delage -- with brakes that are a mere suggestion.

To be fair, the brakes on most of the 20s cars appeared to be applied by postal vote or carrier-pigeon!

If you're looking to update Sol to 2.2 and run Pure. It's some pretty impressive work.

Yep - it’s darned good - even more impressive with the paid-for version of CSP offline with full rain effects (some way off being implemented fully for server use at the moment though).
I’ve been having a cracking time offline allowing AC Content Manager to pick a random grid of ‘same era / same class’ cars to race against. Last night I was in a Lotus 72 with a 935, some 60s/70s crossover F1 cars, a mk1 coke-bottle Escort (Mexico?), some VERY LOUD yank single-seaters and gawd knows what else… Great fun.
We’ve had a fairly limited response to the 20’s cars - although a fantastic illustration of the range of content out there, I propose to load something a bit more modern for a while.…

When I joined the server a couple days ago with the L72D and Brands, CM downloaded and installed some files that I needed to join. That was very user-friendly.

Ps - we’re hoping to do some online testing (impromptu races etc.) over the next few days. Possibly starting today between c. midday and 2PM(ish) UK time. In any case, keep checking LiveRacers and if you see anybody online, please try to join them for a bit of stress testing of the system.
