This was a good test for the 70s F1 mod , the tyre model is the best I have come across in RF2 , they were durable and didnt overheat unless you abused them and at last you could use the tyre pressures to tune them , no running min pressures to combat ballooning .

The brakes on 6 wheeler where a bit of a pain but if my memory is correct that was a historical downside to using small dia front tyres , also autoblip was turned off in the mod itself so downshifts had to be done carefully but the racing was fun .

It maybe worth checking out the other cars with a view to running them for a season , there could be some good racing to be had with these .

It was a fun race and tires held up well. Race 1 fin 4th Cookie and I kept changing places I guess I wrecked 1 less time than him. LOL was fun. Race 2 very strange I got a cut track penalty for going outside on turn 1 I thought that was very strange.
