I think it is time (regardless Paul's battles with the server) to start talking about what do we race the next season (cars, tracks, weather, race configuration, etc.).
All options are open.

everybody got opinions - here are some of mine:
car - if we are keeping to a vintage car - the F2 - because if we respect the F3 saturday night deal and we have done the sport cars and F1 - i think that is all that is left. if we would move to a current car i would go the USF2000. come on, you knew i was gonna pick that...
tracks - i would like to see road america, road atlanta and laguna seca in the mix - also, if we do spa, can we do the modern version. i am not a big fan of nords and monti carlo - but - if majority wants them - well then..
those are some of my opinions - what are your's? ;D

I like the idea of doing a full US season. Tracks and a car all from the USA.
Searspoint is a great underrated track.

I like the idea, full US with USF2000.
About the weather please forget it, our elder eyes cannot cope, its torture for many of us over half a century old.
Also instead of Monaco we could do Lime Rock.

Just drove the 1975 car in the server and it was a nice car.
It's in line with the cars used here over the last seasons.
Why not that one?

The F1 '75 cars are coming along nicely. However each one is different from the others, just as in 1975. There may be a League Edition in the future. There are several versions of the Howston G4 and G6 that haven't been run yet. The USA season with F2000 sounds intriguing as well. Sears and Seca forever!

At least let's do winds and temperature, it's not so hard to implement (it takes less than me looking for it and writting it at the announcement post)...... :

Also an oval race should be a must in a US season. Maybe a large oval where it's just slipstreams, traffic and strategy or a small one with different challenges like tire managing.

A strong point.
On that basis I would prefer F2s.
Any other ideas?

Yes; the '75 Brabham.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that one does fit nicely in the row there has been so far?
A league edition shouldn't be a problem; thats easy to make.
Its strange it isn't even thought about; a new addition to the line you drove so far or getting into repeat; F2 was years ago.

Lol! I totally didn't get that!
I was presuming it was the T70 and this BT44 was some in between car; a fun race.
Have to learn how to read properly

For some of us, Bryan Birtwells F3 race on Saturday is just too late. Seems a shame we can't have these cars for a season, especially since Kristijan updated them. The guys who drive on Saturday would have an advantage but I don't think they would complain

The problem for me about the F2 is the ugly looking interior and the non updated tire model (as far as I remember).
I hear F2 and I feel laziness, as if we've raced it way too many times.
I'd preffer Howstons or other car. (though Howstons would force to drive auto-clutch to avoid if from slipping)

Agree with that Harri, SR4L should offer ALL its members the chance to drive these cars , f3 give close fun racing and if we use the 150hp version then they are pretty quick yet still well balanced , it also opens the secondary battle of Eve v Spark and maybe the possibilty of using the 140hp versions instead of a weight penalty for the top guys , that would keep the field tight and the racing close .
Instead of fun race / league race format why not run 2 leagues using same track , usf2000 and a historic , i like the idea of using US tracks and that would tie in nicely with modern historic racing where they use the current tracks ,I also think this would remove any staleness in using the same old tracks over and over .

Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it
