Quali

Didn't manage to get a timed lap in, no practice at all for this car track combo. Managed to borrow a setup (TY Harri )

Race 1

Managed to avoid all the carnage in the early part of the GP section then right at the end of the GP section as I was about to join the old track I was clipped by someone rejoining the track and got airborne and landed hitting the barrier hard and was unable to drive. Race on over.

Race 2

Tactical start. Sat on the grid and let everyone go with about a 10 sec start then just drove. Took it all very slow and steady. Pitted at te end of lap one as I planned to because i knew all the fast guys would be pitting on lap 2. Continued to drive steady and was not bothered about places for this race just finish. On the last lap I managed to gain a few places by others dropping out due to damaged. Finished 9th tactic worked

These cars are a bitch around this track and the Spark is no different :o
So i couldn't get my head around the setup for Nords and all i did was crash the car over and over again in practice.
My plan was don't care about laptime or other faster drivers just be consistent and see where it's going to bring you.

Quali

Not fast at all (looking at DJC but he's the father of this beautiful track so who cares ) i think it was 5th and that was better than i had hoped for.

Race 1

Mayhem in T1 which i managed to avoid giving me 4th position. In T5 (hairpin at GP track) Harri had a nice come together with.....dunno....but that gave me 2th spot. Felt like i stole it but than again that's racing (Harri i ow you a whine or whatever you drink 8 :). Next i had Santiago breathing in my neck all the time but he didn't seem to have enough speed to take a shot on me. We stayed like that for lap 1 and 2.
At the end of lap 2 we obviously had to pit but i had forgotten to notify my team i was coming in and as a reward they gave me a stop which lasted.....and lasted.......and lasted like forever. I saw Santiago leaving and those lazy basterds where still filling my car up >.
In the end i still was 3rd and that was a great result......jaja i know all the aliens where missing, but then again they didn't turn up like we all did

Race 2

Started and again wanted to stay out off trouble and clean and see what it would bring. TBH i don't even remember much anymore (drunk i guess ).
All i know Harri was in front off me and faster but when we went for out pitstop she was gone all off a sudden. Sharhei was in front off me and he made some mistakes but managed to go along and was faster then me so no chance to overtake him.
Last lap i got a present from Dan who crashed his car at Dottinger hohe giving me 4th.

My first podium and P2 in SR4L!

I worked this race very much (almost 100 laps) got a good setup and nice times, easy times I must say and no aliens except DJ, piece of cake.

Qualy: 9.06 and P3 (Harri up!)

Race 1: Being hit twice at the very beginning of the race (Harri up again!) my car wasnt good but driveable, I managed to get P3 and very soon I found myself at Edwin´s back, clearly I was faster than him but no enough and considering the steering damage I decided to wait at his back, pushing but not so hard, after two laps, went pistop time and I choose not to repair, it was a very good decision, soon I got P2 on last lap, Ed was 15 seconds behind me and still slower than me, so I took a very calm behavior cruising all the way to the chequered flag.

Race 2: Difficult situation, Im not good at traffic, so I try to stay on last position but accidents put me in the middle of a bunch of drivers, two in front of me and two at my back, all within meters, lot of dust on every corner, scary! finally on the highest part of the circuit and still on lap one, somebody crash the barriers to the left, bounced to the right and hit me, badly damage suspension, tried hard to get pits but was impossible. DNF.

Quali was pretty good

R1 Had a slow start but got going OK, think I clipped Santiago on T1. T3, R Nauman started braking heavily really early for the corner and I hit him hard from behind, there was a fair bit of damage to the front end of the car at this point, it was wobbly and felt like it was ice skating. Car skated off track again and I decided to wait until the whole pack had passed before rejoining so I could learn to drive the damage for a lap. Managed to ice skate around and pitted. Ended up finishing in 4th.

R2 I should have quit before R2 as the old carple tunnel was playing merry havoc and I had to quit during the race.

Was a lot of fun to drive though Edwin drove the Spark like a champion, it's a hard car on that track.

That was a great experience!
R1: I stalled the engine before the start and realized there's no starter in this car. It was too late to rejoin and I had to wait for a miracle. Luckily Ricky gave me a bump and that was enough to start the engine That was grrreat! Sorry Ricky and Rick that you suffered from my mistakes. And thanks Harri for some nice action.

R2: Nice start and funny moment with Tobi. Hopefully damage was not heavy. At least my car could hold the direction. In the end of lap 1 there was a mess which Santiago has already described. While trying to avoid contact with Rick's car I released the throttle for too long and Santiago should crash into me but saved turning into the barrier. I was still on 4th before the end of the main straight when I saw Dan spinning on the downhill and crashing into the barrier. It was so sad to watch. So this time podium was pretty random for me. But anyways I enjoyed the event. Thanks to all drivers and congrats to all finishers!

I had 3 attempts at qualify. 1st run crashed. 2nd run finished with very nice time. 3rd run crash. That was good for pol position, happy .

Race 1.
Very little to say, I took it very easy, went slow in all places I crash normally and finished 1st without any trouble. Was fun, even if I was alone the whole time.

Race 2
Started near back of reserve grid. Picked up some places off the go, some one on the grass already to my left, got round 1st corner, I did get a bit of a poke in the middle of the turn but was all ok. Next few corners I got passed people going to wide.
Coming out of the GP circuit I only had two drivers to front of me and that was JohnC, and DanM. John let me pass him which was very nice of him. Took half a lap to caught Dan, A plan I had was to quiet happily follow him wait for the long straight to get by, but no need as he also just let me by. Very nice of you both.
Again easy win. When the aliens come back it will not be so easy, hurry up Nikos and finish your holiday

I saw Dans crash on replay with only 2 corners to go to finish. I'm thinking "nooo, what you doing!"' as cars passed him. Never mind Dan .

Race 1
Qualified 4th. Not a good lap 1. Harri, in front of me, didn't get away as fast as I did and moved to the left which gave me a straight shot for T1 on the inside. I managed to get by her and Santiago to take P2 after T1. At the 180 hairpin Harri rear-ended me and knocked me all the way to the wall. Sorry, but I did not brake early. Yes I braked hard, in order to slow the car so I could make the turn. (If you are a late-braker and/or trying to out-brake someone it is best not to be directly behind them. Same for regular braking when you have no idea of the brake point of the leading car, especially on cold tires, ) Then I came up on Siarhei who was driving at half throttle 30mph off the pace. I had to brake waaay early (this time no choice) which caused my teamie to rear end me. After that I got caught up in the incident between Paul and Mel and put my front end into a barrier. So all that said, getting 5th was pretty good.

Once I got alone on lap one I passed several guys who must have been driving with damage. (How else could I catch them so easily?) Pitted after lap 1. Made pretty good time on lap 2 until I had a spin and let Harri catch me just before the second Carousel. She followed me for the rest of that lap and got by on a WELL EXECUTED pass going into turn 3, out braking me on the inside line! I followed her close for much of lap 3 but eventually fell back from trying too hard to keep up. Finished in 5th. Pretty good considering...

Race 2
Started 6th. Just as the starting lights lit up I got the "Sychronizing" indication in the corner of the screen! This is never good and so I pulled off track at the green light to let the field pass. I figured I'd run some safe distance behind the pack to see if I could notice anything weird or see if the indication came up again. But of course with all the typical lap one thrashing and bashing I quickly become buried in a 5 car train. Well so much for playing it safe. (Did anyone see me blinking in and out or anything else weird?) In the winding part after the big downhill drop-off I got squirrely and skidded along a wall. Santiago and Siarhei got tangled up reacting to my situation but everyone continued. I pitted after lap one, partly to make repairs but also to free myself of the traffic. Came out in 8th but after the next lap and the rest of the pit cycle I was in 3rd! Woo hoo! I raced there for most of the lap until I eventually caught up to Dan Minges. Just after the second Carousel I got a run on him. He took the defensive line on the inside approaching the right-hander leading to the downhill curve before the long straight. I made a try around the outside but went off wide into the wall. Ends up he too overcooked the turn and also went into the wall though we never touched. But my good fortune was that I didn't damage the car. He was not so lucky and had to limp it home. So I finished P2! I'm pretty sure that's my best finish in SR4L! Yeah it's because a lot of fast guys weren't there but hey... I'll take it!

It's Matra. Starter can be used only in pits.
