Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 8 of our Historic's League.
This season we race a multi-class league. 4 classic cars will take part in it: Eve F1, Spark F1, Matra V12 and the BT20. You must choose one and race it for the whole season. As always the most important here is having fun in every race.
This third round will take place in Montecarlo. The streets of Montecarlo will witness the best skills of all drivers. Will the Matra suffer from its extra power? will the Spark be able to make a difference against the winged Eves? Will the BT20s give some battle? Come and see it by yourself.

Monaco pit rule clarification (As originally posted by Marcel:

- Obviously, you need a 'request pit' button to make a pitstop here, unlike other tracks where you can just enter pit and the red pit spot appears automatically.

- The moment you request pit, the pitlane becomes active for your car. The pit speed limit has then to be taken in account, even if you decide not to pit while it's active.
If you don't pit, but do cross the white line accidentally and break the speed limit (by overtaking someone for example), you'll receive a penalty.

- To serve a drive through or stop and go, you have to request a pit stop. From then, the procedure is as normal. For a drive through, just drive through as you normally would and for a stop and go, you stop at your spot.

- When pitting, stay right of the white line. Obviously, if there's a car in front of you, you need to pass it and cross the line. No penalty will be given. Tuck in again when you can.

- Exiting pit, stay on the right till after T1, especially when there's traffic coming.

- Here's two screenshots to show pit entry, a bit after the blue wall to the right and pit exit, after you passed the diagonal yellow lines on road surface.

I have done low 1:23's so far. IIRC the pole time was a high 1:22 last time with these cars, with Marcel on pole. But then we were driving the EVE. I'm quite sure I'm a better driver now than I was back in 2013, and will manage to reach those time in the Spark. But unfortunately I will miss this race... But next race I should be able to participate.

There is a speed limit.

Also be carefull that:
Pitlane ends just before Sainte Devote.
You must ask for pitstop before serving a penalty.

Looking at the lap times so far, excluding the usual Hedlundcruickshanksanisteban aliens, new guy David Merino is very fast, on par with the above.

I still cant figure out why Coyne missed this, Dave would be up there with the best.

Also my teammie is very fast, good job mate, show them how its done, I cant, maybe another time

Hi Shannon. I'm not driving the league races this season either. Was wondering if you'd be running any more hill climb events though? I was enjoying those despite such corners as "Rocky Plummet" and "Holy Fence Batman!"
