Managing results/championship table: offering help :)
#81
Ah ok, get it now Nikos! That shouldn't be much of a problem Smile

Attached a screenshot showing how it looks like now. Missing is the Position for individual race. Would "Pos. / Points" (example: 1 / 25) instead of only points be a convenient way to display this?

Strike Results are working now too, need a bit more of testing but should be fine Smile. Can only apply it to individual races though, not on weekends as I'm currently not handling weekends (this could be changed if needed, would be a bit of work though).

@Paul
Attached is a html file which shows the championship-table as css-table. Would something like this work for you?

Hi Chris.

I'm away from home at the moment. But it looks exactly what I am looking for, I should be able to get that linked into the web site with its own page.

Taking http://this as inspiration the headers containing the race name ('Brianza 1', 'Brianza 2' ...) in the html-file will now link to the simresults.net (or any other website containing the race result) page.

@Tim
Could you provide me with your current database (should be the final one with all results) so I can test if everything works as it should Smile

Will upload the new version soon if testing goes ok.

So, attached is the new version along with the current database and the html tables Smile

Was new in this version:
- strike-results are working
@Tim: they are set to '0' for the Lola Season, you can change this under 'Configure Championship'
- Championshiptables now show the position of the driver/team in the championship
- Driver Championshiptable now shows number of participants for each race
- Championshiptables can now be saved as html files
@Tim: for this you just have to right-click on the respective championshiptable. A context menu will open which allows you to save the table as a html-file
- A Weblink (for example simresults.net-Result) can now be saved for each race. This link will work for the headers in the drivers-championship html page
@Tim: The link can be added in the RaceResult-Page for each race

In the attached html-file only the link to the LeMans simresults.net result is working as I haven't configured the other ones.

@Tim
I made some small changes to the database (teamcolor for some drivers in team 'none' was wrong). You can work with the attached one from now on or keep the one you have, doesn't make much difference, only some teamnames in the html file for the drivers-table will be shaded black.

New version added, which fixes the following bug:
- Points calculation failed if more drivers finished a race 'normally' (according to our rules) and thus were eligible to get ponts than there are positions configured in the points-system (which are 20)

New version, fixing another (:-[) bug due to sloppy programming:
- Now considering hours in finish time too. Previously someone taking 1:00:11 (1 hour and 11 seconds) to finish the race would be considered faster than someone taking 0:55:30 (55 minutes and 30 seconds) for instance, as the first driver only took 11 seconds to finish the race if one doesn't regard the hours ... ;D

New version, containing following fix:
- trailing blanks/spaces in drivernames won't cause problems anymore. Example: 'Christoph Pucher ' will be "recognized" as 'Christoph Pucher'
