Managing results/championship table: offering help :)
Hi Christophe,

I spotted an anomaly when using the results tool. When you use it as normal and exit, if you then go into task manager (windos 10) you see that "rfactor_offline-_championship (32 bit)" is still running

If you open the result calculator again , a second process appears in the task manager & so on if you keep opening it.

Just thought you'd like to know

Won't look into it right away, but will put it on the TODO-List Wink

New version, changelog:
- fixed issue of process still running (as seen in the task manager) even after closing the application (as been reported by Jonathan, thanks again!)
Actually, I never closed the first window (showing the different championships). I only hid it when loading a championship, thats why the process kept running even after closing the other window, ups :-[ ;D

Tried to attach it here, but it didn't work, got following error:
"Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.
Please consult your server administrator for more information."

Quick question .... I can view the results from last tuesdays race on live racers but their site gives me an error when i try to download the results file Sad (first time this has happened to me anyway)

Is there a way i can manually enter the race results into your championship manager?

thanks

No easy way I'm afraid. You could always 'fake' a results file but thats no quick/easy way. But you should have a results file on your local machine anyway, if I'm not mistaken. :o

Best practice is to use the one from the server though (if available). There were problems with local result files being faulty at times, for example they were missing some data. This probably is fixed by now, but the server results file is the way to go Smile

New version:
- resizing of championship tables should work better now; there were problems with display of team names in championship table, glitches can still show but reloading the "Drivers" or "Teams" tab should fix them

new version, fixes:

new version, following "fix":
- Think this was the second time the database got to a state consisting bad data. Hard to tell whats causing it, probably unexpected closing of the program. Anyway, due to two drivers having the same (wrong, non existing) ID the program isn't loading the affected championship. "Fixed" it so it will load the championship but the result of the affected race will be wrong. Reloading of the results file should fix this though.

If one doesn't make the mandatory pit-stop will this result in DQ or time-penalty?
If a driver gets disqualified do the drivers behind him move up in position?
If ones doesn't make x% (lets say 80%) of the race will he still get the extra-point if he ran the fastest lap?

Edit:
And could someone please provide me with the server results-files of the Brianza races, thanks Smile

bullwinkle Wrote:my opinion is no pit stop DQ
maintain position if someone DQ
if you have fast lap you get points period
simresults 150215-5Xq.

my thoughts only

jerry if you complete 70% of race you get points if not you don't.

Regarding DQ, as this was an issue in the last race. Should I change the setting so drivers move up the place if a driver in front of them gets disqualified? Well maybe I could make it as a setting if drivers move up or not. Shouldn't be too hard to do, but not sure when I will find the time Smile
