I didn't feel too good yesterday (flu+feverish) but I decided to have a go with the F3.5, which I 'discovered' just one day ago. Very nice to drive. Wonder why I never tried it before.
Qualify came (because of little practice with this car) almost obviously with a pb. I ran the car with default setup, only wings some clicks lower, I can't tell how good the lap was in terms of laptime but it felt like I hit every corner about right.
Anyway, the start was exciting, I had a little battle with John Cook for P5 but I was able to pull away from him. After Jason's incident I found myself in 3rd place for the remainder of the race. I was a bit worried about Hectari being 15 secs behind me at the final part of the race but I was able to control that gap untill I came across Poehlman.
He must have had a gazillion blue flags, he was all over the place (tires?) but I couldn't pass him, only untill another car (rothmans? not sure) came up the back of ours and Poehlman spun it under accelarating after the hairpin. Please next time watch your mirrors. So still 3rd but now ahead of Hectari for about 8 secs only. So I had to push it some more. The timer reached zero, I ran across start finish for the last lap but after some corners, my engine had enough of it and died. Still 5th place, a nice evening
but now I got to recover for the big one next Sunday :-[
Cheers,
