The race was going well until I spun in the second stint entering turn 1. Thankfully there was enough of a gap to retain the lead. I don't use KERS and, as Myles said, the default setup is very good. The only thing I have changed is the gear ratios and brake bias. Brake bias adjustment is still necessary since rear tyres seem to wear faster than fronts. I start a stint at 58 front bias and end up about 61. Like the '73 Porsche RSR, this is a car you can get off the line by slamming it into 1st with no clutch at full revs. You just need to choose an appropriate 1st gear ratio.
In the first stint I had the info display on tyre condition and was watching [USER=10]@DJCruicky[/USER] in the mirror. For the second stint I couldn't see him and had gap information on the display which might have given me overconfidence on the tyres which probably led to the spin.
[USER=10]@DJCruicky[/USER] you seem to get all the bad luck during pit stops. I was pushing right up to the pit entrance line and on the limiter in the pits.
