Race 1
Got a good start and managed to edge away from DJ , I guessed he was running fuel heavy as normally he would be all over me at Nords so decided to just push hard and hope I gained enough time for when he came out of the pits , fortunately despite a couple of small offs I just managed to pass him as he exited the pits , as my tyres were already up to temp this allowed me to hold position and get the win ,WOOHOO
Race 2
The start went a lot better than expected , but I got collected by a spinning car at Kesselchen and hit the barriers , got going again car appeared mostly OK but had more oversteer and was down on top end by 3kmh.
I pitted on lap 1 hoping to gain track space then I could lap quickly , came out of the pits and blew the plan by messing up my braking for Hohenrain and spinning out , this let Cookie pass so chased him and managed to get passed I then came up to Harri and Tobias , my car was heavy so couldnt get the exits out of the corners I wanted , stayed behind until Harri made a mistake at ExMuhle this let me through and I was onto Tobias who I tried to outbrake going into Bergwerk, but ,I only managed to outbrake myself so hit the barriers , car didnt seem any more damaged so chased and caught them at the Karousel , Tobias slide out wide taking Harri with him and leaving me a huge hole to aim for , I didnt need to think I just went for it , after that I caught and passed Tim and tried to catch Daniel but he had too much of a lead , finally finished 4th .
Well Teamie Tim we did it Wrinklies are top dog , for now thanks to the points you brought home, but C&N racing will be after our blood next time .
Hard luck Rick I was looking forwards to you and Shannon battling hard , I reckon Shannon paid some of his local Native Americans to do a rain dance aimed at Florida
Your problems with fuel could be down to the damage you sustained if your fuel setup was marginal .
I found the fuel consumption on this car could vary greatly according to driving style , I set the car up running high gearing and drove it short shifting to keep the rears cool this gave me 44lts per lap but if I used the revs this consumption shot up to 49ltrs , so potentialy a car with wheels out of line could be a thirsty beast .
Well done DJ a very worthy champ again (dammit)

. I really started to enjoy this season once i began to understand the car and wouldnt mind doing it again on different tracks but definately not Monaco
Big thanks to Paul / Gorka / DJ / and Teamie Tim for another great season and to all the regulars who turn up and make SR4L fun

Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it
