By doing races and races we reach to know each other's way of driving.
That way you know (or expect to know) how every different driver can react depending on the actions, overtaking, lapping whatever.
Nikos, for example, if I am about to lap him he will always move out of the way as soon as he can do it safely. If I get to him in some difficult corners I know I have no need to make him know I'm there, he will let me in as soon as he is able to and I will wait for that difficult corners to end.
DjC (David Cruickshank), if he's coming fast and I'm under his attack it will be very difficult to hold him for many laps. I can try to block the inner side before the braking but he is very good at outer side overtakings and once he gets there all I can do is leave him that lane.
What I mean by this is that after long periods racing here we get to know each other's racing style better and learn to battle safier.
That doesn't mean that accidents will still occur. For example during the last reversed race, at the end of the first lap I went side by side with Harri and another car at the main straight. I was on the inner side and tried for a hard braking. But I forgot that my car's cambers weren't simetrical due to the nature of this track and my car moved to the right in the braking, climbing into the inner kerb, losing brake power and going into Harri, damagind his car.
That's one of the clearly avoidable accidents for which I take all the blame and help me learning race after race. Next time I get to the same situation I'll probably wait for them to finish their battle instead of going into a 3 car braking that has all chances to end in some way of disaster.
