Went out early and set a good time for me , tried a couple of times more but could not get a clean lap to improve on it , claimed 4th place so I was happy with that .
Race 1
Got a good start but cocked it all up when I locked my brakes going into the hairpin and hit ED (sorry Ed) that cost me a couple of places , settled down and chased DJ and DH until DJ had a lockup and went wide , chased down DH and proceded to have a good battle but even though I was faster I could not get past , then I had a moments inattention and let the car drift wide into the wall going onto main straight , I hit it hard but stayed straight so got away with it but damaged the car , after that it was not so keen to turn right , went into pitstop and cancelled the repair as it added 30 secs , came out of pits behind Andi and chased him until he spun out at turn 6 then I was behind DH again but could not lap fast enough to worry him , finished 4th .
Race 2
Got a good start and stayed clear of any trouble , I was behind Shannon for a couple of laps and pushing him hard , I got into his draft onto main straight intending to try to out brake him but when I pulled out I hit Lee who was nearer than I thought (sry Lee my fault entirely I was too fixated on Shannon) , fortunately I only lost a couple of places , caught up to main pack again but could see everyone struggling to pass so decided to try for the undercut and a long run on a set of tyres , pitted and came out on a clear track got my head down and concentrated on lapping quickly , places came to me and around lap 12 I momentarily grabbed second place passing Dan as he exited the pits only to throw it away by going wide at the next corner so Dan went past , his tyres were in better condition than mine so I couldnt mount any challenge and just dropped in behind , Ed was 10 sec behind but lapping a lot quicker than me so I decided to just try and stay on the black stuff , fortunately it worked out for me but another lap would have seen ED get me as the tyres had given up . Finished 3rd .
