I don't feel well and keep having moments of feverishness, my son had brought back some sort of Northern virus on steroids from his girlfriends. I was almost grateful the server wasn't working and had sort of relaxed and decided to enjoy the evening as it didn't look like there would be a race. Then there was, good grief!
Quali - not too shabby.
race 1 - a few feverish moments with sweat in the eyes but otherwise it was ok
race 2 - a few more feverish moments and what I call lag bubbles, it's a moment where you are driving and then suddenly there is nothing at the wheel like it's lost all force feedback. It happened twice and both times it felt like another car had pushed my car from a rear corner into a spin. I drove 3 or 4 laps with steering damage which made it wobble very interestingly down the straights and not turn very well, had to brake a little earlier and lighter. Patched up the damage with the designated pit stop and exited behind slightly slower moving traffic that it was impossible to pass.
All in all, pretty happy with the result but discovered for sure that I don't like having poll position on the grid, knowing the aliens are behind me, so I'm going to have to work really hard at always finishing 5th (if only
)
