Well actually there is no "ss" in spanish "Tharagotha" is written "Zaragoza". All spanish is mainly plain except for the more the south you are the less plain it is spoken as people tend to speak words "lazier". Here at the north is mainly plain, though we have no free "tapas", we have "pinchos" (tapas like but paid).
In Barcelona (mainly all Catalonia) spanish is talk with a very distinguisable accent (Catalonians have always been called "polish" (from Poland) from the way they talk)
I'm going to Madrid next week just to enjoy "caƱas" and "tapas" across the whole city (well, also I'll visiting some cultural places :
