As I told Christoph in the post race chat I really don't care that I was DQ'd. My race was in the tank anyway so I just waited for race 2. (I like that we have the 2 race format.) For me it's just a curiosity because all I ever saw on my screen was something like "pit now due to damage" maybe a lap before I was kicked out at the end of lap 7. I would not have thought the game would do that if damage was set to zero like I thought it was. I didn't see a stop and go warning though I could have missed it prior to all my other off track excursions and wall smacking. It seems plausible that my over shoot and recovery on lap three may be the triggering event and I was allowed a few laps to comply.
It seems like there is always more text displayed in the corner of my screen than I care or need to see. I think I will disable chat so only necessary things pop up. Like "pit requested" "pit team ready" and oh yeah... "stop and go penalty"!
