At the last turn of lap 3 (the left hairpin) I locked up and over shot it going all the way through the gravel onto the kink of the other layout. Did a u turn and headed back down the pit straight.
Then on lap 5 I went into the grass at T4 (Old Hairpin) running all the way to the old aqua-duct looking stone works. That definitely could be considered short cutting but obviously with no advantage gained. Didn't hit anything that time.
A few laps later I went off at same place and creamed the wall. The game soon said I must pit for damage but I ignored it because the car felt fine. Then immediately after passing the pit entry it kicked me out.
