Went out early but I was overdriving and did a high 13 , I new I could hit a 12 as I had done it the previous night , went out again and let the car do the work this time , this got me a PB in the 12s
Race 1
Made an awful start but couldnt see DJ only one of the Bamfords behind me , exiting Eue Rouge I was congratulating myself on being very lucky to hold 1st when DJ momentarily appeared in front of me , this startled me and checking the leaderboard I could see I was second but DJ was no where to be seen , on the run up to turn 3 he appeared and disappeared a couple of times so I had no idea where I was in relation to him , as we approached Malmedy he started firming up and by the time we reached the striaght he was there all the time , I decided I had to pass while I had the chance so got a run on him and passed him going into Masta , I kept an eye on my mirrors but he had disappeared , I could see I think it was Dan in 2nd so I presumed DJ had gone off , after that I drove for a finish .
Race 2
Awful race for me , got hit at Eau rouge and spun out , rejoined and managed to avoid numerous crashes at all the next bends , thought I was doing OK but on the run down to Stavelot a car landed on top of me and did a lot of damage , I compounded this with an off at Stavelot which caused more damage , limped to pits for a 366 sec top , came out of pit into Eau Rouge to be confronted with a wall of hay bales across the track I hit these and was thrown down the banking , I scrabbled back on track but car had no speed , where as I was topping out at 320 on run up to masta I was struggling to reach 305 , at that point I gave up and threw the car at the nearest bit of scenery in disgust .
