I understand some USA time zones might’ve caught up today?

Anyway, good luck. Password is set. It’s not set, it’s bmw. Hope that clarifies things! Wink

Hello everyone,

Brazil race report: My race started well, keeping @DJCruicky behind for a few laps but eventually he made it past. I went a bit wide on the final sector uphill and clobbered a sign getting some dark blue damage but I couldn't feel anything.

@DJCruicky was directly in front heading into the pits. Luck was on my side yet again in the pitstops as he didn't have a clean getaway and we ended up side by side but I had the inside and squeezed in front. While I could put a fast lap together I wasn't able to be consistent and Davids speed and skill put him in front again and I was struggling to get a rhythm. Ended up spinning twice and came home second. Fantastic race, it was a lot of fun and congrats on the win @DJCruicky

Had a good race…stayed fairly consistent…started losing sight of leaders after four to five laps.Halfway into series looks like Ed And DJ are pretty close in points…Dan looks to have 3rd wrapped up..and I and Tim are battleing for 4th..and cookie not that far behind…though who knows…things could change as racing can be very unpredictable…great racing thus far

Yupp, it was a good race. Close again with Ed and Me.

'Dangly Bayford' was quick in 3rd place behind me. For a number of laps I thought I was in danger of getting overtaken by him. Well done.
I was loosing a lot of time under braking compared to Ed and Dan. If I can get to grips with that I could maybe go a bit faster. I could see in replay I was locking up the tyres everywhere.
CU in the next one.

Read below on how not to get a penalty for using the escape exit routes at the chicanes.

Situation, you are heading towards the chicane, you find you have over shot your braking so you decide to drive down the exit route to avoid hitting the wall.
If you do that, the game will give you a drive through penalty, which would be bad.

To Not get a drive through penalty come to a full stop and wait for the Penalty box to turn from Red to White. See video..

Watch out for other cars when re-joining the track.

My crew chief voice activation was not responding for my call to change all tires at pit as i usually do..got distracted changing it in manually(in VR) and blew the chicane and got a drive thru Sad
Pitted early..hoping my drive thru would clear with that ..lol..of course not..did my drive thru...if not for that I would have been in really good shape....Tim came out of his pit right as i was going by...behind me closing the gap for a few laps ..I knew he was quicker than me here so I knew what was coming Sad ..passed me 4th last lap...tried my best to hangon Smile ...but the gap got bigger last laps...he was flying..and was not too far back from Dan! Great racing as usual here ..thanks for hosting!!

It was a good track and race.

I was on pole, but Ed jumped in to the lead straight away with Anatoliy following me behind.
Heading towards Curva Parabolica Anatoliy overtakes me, but then slips off the track and out of the race.
Not long after that, all hell breaks loose behind me, Dan gets rear ended.

I did not seem to have the same speed as I did in qualify. Ed was very fast going a second a lap faster than me. Only chance of me catching now is if he spins. That is exactly what he did Big Grin. I managed to avoid his spinning car in Curva Parabolica. He got back on track 15 seconds behind me.
He did a great recovery drive overtaking cars and getting to 2nd place, but he ran out of laps to get near my rear. Thank you for the free win Ed Big Grin.

Equal points with Ed again with 2 races to go. Funny if it ended up on a tie at the end of the season.
Well done to all that finished.
Night race next.

though I have to say at least this track is lit up pretty good..better than any other i think..but I may have to go to monitor if it stays night..tough on my vr headset anyways..I do have better lap time and stay more consistent during day vs night..but then again ..im old ..and see shit at night ..lol

I guess it's still light over there at USA at race time. Some tips from me to help visibility:-
Close your curtains/blinds to reduce reflections on your screens. Turn off lights.
Make sure you can see all Grey levels, on this page. http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php
Adjust your Brightness, Contrasts or Gamma settings on your monitors if you can not.
Might be time to look for new monitor if the above don't help. Black Friday / Cyber Monday soon.

VR users, I can not give advise on FPS. Yes, switch to Monitor if needed.

I don't have any problems myself. The track is 95% lit (as Gary said), and the cars have headlights. Track looks great at night. The Real track does 24 hour races there, and other tracks do night races too. Did no one see the F1 race this weekend at Las Vegas? That was driven at night. The next F1 race is also a night race.

Good luck tonight.

Dissapointed Tim did not make the race, as we are very close in pace and usually have good battles, and are close in points. But had a great race with Dan for the first half as we traded places after spinning in exact same corner...unfortunatley Dan was trying to get around bruce on last corner and got caught on curb and spun. I had a decent lead and did my pit, and once again, i got a stop and go for speeding in pits Sad ..I was sure I had my pit limiter on ..but after serving that it threw me back to 5th behind John who we had a great battle to the end, but john made no mistakes and I finished a car length behind. Great racing again!! I decided to stay in vr, was a little choppy at times but doable.

Bad luck on your speeding in pitlane Gary.
I'm curious what happened to Anatoliy at the start. He just disappears and out of the race. Shame, as he was very fast.

Once again 2 horse race at the front. Ed Pond was a bit quicker and he put a 2.5 second gap on me. I was gaining a bit of time each time he encountered a backmarker.
Later in the race I spun the car and lost 5 seconds, tyres lost their grip after the spin. Finished 2nd in the end.
Well done on the 1st place Ed.
