What if
#1
What if I join 1979 championship now its drawing to a close.

It seems this virus situation will have us home for a long time, so I have the time to race with you all.
The problem is, you know I can mess a race sometimes with my sloweness and I wonder if I shouldnt join so late the championship at all, just race at everyday races.

I will accept and welcome admins views on this.

It's our politics everyone is always welcome to race nevermind it's the first or the final race.
I guess we can arrange some fun events during the Easter holidays break as most of us will be confined at home

From my part Ill do my best to be ready for the championship, Ill try practice every day and if I feel Im not ready I will not join race, thanks Gorka for the response.
My teamie Dan is expecting me to get him some points for our team "Last Orders Please", Ill do my best teamie Smile

Btw as we are all (or most of us) at home, maybe we could arrange an envelope of time that we could join server and practice together?
It would be nice if we knew that if we join at more or less a certain part of the day we had more chances to find people in the server.

I propose this part could be 20:00 to 24:00 UK time?

Remember also using discord if you want and talk to each other. In these hard times, the more people we connect the better for our minds.

Hey Nikos, you won't be the only slow one, I have a shoulder injury that makes steering hard and so am taking it easy and being a mobile chicane.

I decided it was perfectly fair as all the leaders have to pass me Big Grin My rules are:
  1. watch mirrors as well as road
  2. watch progress bar to check leader positions
  3. stay off racing line when being passed (unless I'm caught unexpected and can't change without crashing)
  4. smile and wave even though they can't see me lol
Hope all is well with you, I'm sure I've had the virus, I'm a week passed the quarantine but now have no sense of smell or taste, strange old virus.

Nikos you are and always have been a big part of SR4L , why on earth would we not welcome you back to racing with us , this is not life or death its just for fun , none of us are going to get a call from Toto anytime soon .
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it
