This time we race the Apex Modding GT3 cars at Nordschleife. This GT cars will bring the spirit of the classic 24h Nordschleife race. The green hell is ready for this cars, are you?

Being a Fun Event, NO mandatory pitstop is required during the race.

Unable to join the GT3 server. I downloaded and installed the cars as linked above, but they are version 0.92. The server requires version 0.935.

Turns out v0.935 is available from the Apex modding ISI forum http://here and is also on Steam at rFactor 2> Workshop > yoss's Workshop'

It would be nice to have the correct link in the post or at least make some mention of where the cars come from. Better yet, get the getmod working.

I tried all the cars. The modding team did good job to try make them equal in lap times I found. The Camaro was slow but, a good 12 seconds off the pace.
The Corvette was very easy to drive but was slow on the straight, I got my fastest time with it. I uncounted some odd collisions with the bottom of this car, the car would bottom out and come to a smashing halt, had to increase the ride height a lot.

you've got all the fastest times.......hmmmm.......didn't you give us this epic track.......hmmmm......still i think of a weight penalty

You guys should try Emery's base setups, I think they work great as..yeah..base Have only done a few changes for every track.

Also, what I have found out when i drove these cars a lot against the AI's is that the McLaren is really slow (lack of power, it seems), the Camaro is a bit tricky (ISI physics ) and my favourite is probably the Ferrari or the BMW. Haven't done many laps in the Porsche tho, but I think it is really fast, maybe too fast.
