Perhaps a 32 lap race? A 1:24 lap would last 84*32/60 = 44.8 minutes (maybe that's optimistic when the tyres heat up)

Race time is usually (roughly) pegged at theoretical best time minus one lap (for pitting). 31? Will decide tomorrow. And make earlier decisions in coming weeks!

Myles can you change Warmup from 5 mins to 7 mins for all Sunday races. I need extra time to re-join after getting booted, and then to check for pit sharing. Also, this will give Ed time to exit and rejoin too with his 100 minute pc crash thingy.
Warning to Ed, when Mel exited after qualifying in Wednesday league, the game put him last for unknown reason for race 1. Exit at your own risk Big Grin

On the subject of pitboxs, there are 18 at this track.

The 1st post says UK is losing an hour on Sunday morning, this is wrong, we are getting an extra hour. Clocks go back an hour. Nice lie in, loverly Big Grin

i thought the server was still on a 7 minute warmup for Svr-1 but I’ll check and correct.

Thanks. I plan to do a hygienic game restart at the start of qualifying.

Yeah - but Qualy is 30 mins for Feature races followed by 7 mins warmup and 45+ mins race. You sure 82mins gives enough headroom?

I wonder if Mel’s issue was that he accidentally changed livery or vehicle and this dissociated him from his Qualy time? If it were me, I’d maybe get a half-decent time in the bag and then exit and restart mid-Qualy. I’d be surprised if you lost your time but you’d still potentially have 15mm so say to set another - *and* save 15 mins headroom for your wilting PC…

No. I checked with DJ and his response:
“Very odd.
Normally that would only happen if you changed to a different numbered car. But I have looked at my .xml files in my log folder and you correctly rejoined with same car.
I have not got an answer for this.”

Hmm! At what point did you exit?

As an aside, there’s no way we’re moving to the latest RC just now given two hot fixes so far…. (Unless anyone spots a fix for Mels issue etc…)

I waited until warmup started and hit “Drive” to make sure I was still connected, spawned onto pit lane and looked and nobody else was there. So I exited and rejoined.

Ah, then perhaps you were removed from the qualifying order for not being there when qualifications ended.

I'm not aware of a stream but someone asked me recently if these races were broadcast/streamed as they wanted to watch.

Thank you, @DJCruicky but the person who asked is not a simracer. I think he was looking for something like the Twitch stream that @gorgias1976 used to manage.
