That had to be the most fun I've had at a sim racing event, especially the first race. Everyone around me was similar in pace and the racing was super tight, I was tucked in behind David for a few laps before I span off; I then went and battled with people similar pace a few positions behind. The car felt great, despite my awful setup, and I could push the car pretty hard without spinning. The track had very little overtaking opportunities so that meant little trains began to form, with everyone waiting in line for the leader to make a mistake. Those races were very enjoyable and I thank everyone who was battling with me.

Race 1
Started ok and held position but got a hit under braking for the chicane so could not slow enough to take it and had to go around it , came ontrack behind Ron , very few overtaking opportunities here so had to wander around his backend in the hope of distracting him into a mistake , fortunately one came when he went wide at turn 3 so i slipped alongside and had the inside line for the chicane , i then came upon Ratus and Dan having a ding dong battle and tried the distraction tactics again but i think Ratus was focused on Dan so i had no effect , Ratus eventually ran wide at turn 1 attacking Dan so i slipped inside and pinched his place , Started to attack Dan but he had me covered whereever i tried until the penultimate lap when i managed to get a draft and outbrake him into turn 1 , finished 3rd . Fantastic close racing great fun .
Race 2
Started ok , was chasing JP and trying to pressure him but around lap 2 my screen started to shiver which got progressively worse as the race went on , i started to miss braking points etc so decided to pull off as i was becoming a liabilty , with the racing as close as it was i didnt feel confident i wouldnt start tagging people .
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

First i like to say that i am so glad to be here after a long time!Seeing and racing with old friends is nice.
Joined last half hour of practice and everything was ok.Framerates ok no strange freezes and 'out of time' driving. After in Q everything went ...slide show.Escaped back to pits but the problem was there.
Rebooted my pc and joined again and for about 3 last minutes i managed to do a decent time without the trembling.
1st race started with a slight frame drop but as the race progressed and drivers started to make space with each other the race was fine.
2nd race and in the first right someone from behind hit me and rolled my car over!Damage all around but the car driveable.
Managed to finish the race after serving a cut track penalty 11st from last.Had a few fights but without driver labels or skins with names its difficult to identify drivers.
Really like the car and all the tracks chosen but it would be better to get rid of all the trembling thing when a car is damaged or crashed.
I am sure you will find the solution soon.
Also tested S397 Sebring both Full and 12h league.Full track is more fps friendly(less textures) than the 12h league one.
Also tested VirtuaLm Sebring and i got less fps than both S397 ones.
Which ever you decide i am in and looking forward to see you all@Sebring!

I also have the S397 Sebring but have yet to use it as every league keeps using the the VLM one!
As for Lime Rock, I never could put together a lap in qualifying and ended up 9th. If I had gotten all my sectors together it could have been 4th or 5th. Work to do while also trying not to overcook the tyres. Had a good run going with under five minutes to go, in about 5th place I think with the cars ahead starting to struggle, but as soon as I caught up to them I walloped the curb on the final corner and looped it. Back to 9th with Sascha behind, and then I realized I calculated the estimated laps the wrong way, thinking 14 or 15 laps when I should have calculated 16 or 15 laps, so had to do maximum fuel save on the last lap. Began sputtering off the final corner but thankfully for me it took Sascha by surprise and he just wasn't quite able to re-accelerate enough to get ahead before the line.
Race 2 was good. Took care of the tyres enough to get ahead of a few, some laps holding them off until they began to struggle with tyre heat again I think, so then had like four seconds to DJC and three seconds to the group behind. Looked like I was able to gain little bits of ground to DJC but it would have needed to be an hour-long race for anything to happen there. A solid 5th-place result.

Managed to complete race 1
Race 2 ....... (what race) was rear ended after turn 1 lap 1 and was flipped onto roof so from midfield to plum last ..
gave up 2 laps later as fps was between 20 and 100 (normally 170 +) also stuttering and screen flashing made it undrivable
all was ok when we were just practicing with ony a few cars on track
we will see what happens next time

For my part, qualifying was not easy, I had difficulty finding a place to do my lap to finish 2nd. I pushed as hard as I could but Ed was always a little faster.
In the main race I managed to put pressure on Ed during the first few laps but I had to push hard, especially since Dave was putting the pressure behind me. We then got to the backmarker which made me come out wide and after an off-piste excursion Dave managed to overtake me.
A few laps later I was able to make an attempt to overtake him after he came out wide and we had a very nice side-by-side for 4 corners. Too bad Dave have a DNF, the battle was fun.
Then Ed was around 5-6 seconds and was faster anyway, there was nothing I could do. I calmed down a bit and returned the car to the finish line.
Bravo Ed for your victory and thank you to all the drivers present, 24 it's impressive.
