Sim Racers 4 Life - Classic F2 League - Round 4 - Laguna Seca
#1
[Image: dV44woE.jpg]

Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to our 2017 spring-summer season.
In this league we will race the Classic F2 (Kristijan's Flex Chassis Mod). The classic F2 is a nice balanced car, more challenging to drive than the F3 but not so unforgiving as the F1.

There are two cars to choose between: Matra or Tecno. Drivers must race the same car for the whole season, wings are optional for every race.

This fourth round will take place at Laguna Seca. Being one of the most famous american tracks, Laguna Seca always provides close racing. Overtaking won't be easy so a good clasification will be critical.

SR4L wishes you good luck for the season.

I think this race will be at the same time Alonso and Indy 500 race. I will not participate if that is the case

Shall we postpone the race for a week, or even run it already on Saturday?

Im not in favor of postponing races no matter what.

There will always be people who will not be able to join for thousand reasons.

There is absolutely no way to please all, its futile.

Thanks for the overview on video recording technology developments over the years Wink I am aware of all that, BUT - I'd really would want to watch it live with all the second / thiord / fourth screen additions available. I am still on the fence though..

the advantage with recording one can wiz through the adverts and yellow flags/cautions.

Also ones other half has to suffer Moto GP and F1 during the afternoon it would be unfair to expect them to miss BGT etc. so that one can watch Indycar and NASCAR. So the later 2 get Tivoed.

The disadvantage is that at Indy it tends to rain often, delaying the race (indeed rain is forecast for tomorrow), so the DVR tends to end before the race is finished. And here in the U.S., it tends to mean the race broadcast switches channels halfway through as ABC decides where to stick it when their minimal "normal" broadcast window closes.
