Well done Marcel, its a pleasure having some one as quick as you to challenge and make victory that much more rewarding, I'm sure we all aspire to be as fast as you next season.

I cannot wait for the new season to start after finally shifting to new technology, I can say my hardware is now up to the job the way I like and expect it to be. I didn't realise how much rFactor2 makes use of a fast processor regarding FPS and its not just the GPU that makes the difference the processor was a bottleneck for massive FPS drops at times, hell I already had a GTX680. Now I eliminated the performance issues I was suffering in FPS drops my driving will be more consistant. Fine tuning my new system has also been a real pain and getting it setup like my old system it took a few week.

Sunday night I managed to join halfway through qualifying to put a decent enough lap down, I was rushed and unsettled after finishing rebuilding my pedals due to two noisy sensors on gas and brake pedals I been suffering for a long time without realising they made my car perform like a kangeroo and much more suceptable to spinouts but all fixed now and working perfectly. Still I did not get enough practice all weekend.

RE: Winner... - Lecram - 23-07-2013

Thanks to those who replied for your kind words. Smile

Now most of you know I'm not hesitant at sharing my setups but today, I'd like to take my generosity one step further. Wink
Back in the days, when I raced GPL, I was a midfielder, sometimes in front but mostly mid-pack. :-\
Then some clever guy emailed me he had something which possibly could make me and anyone else a lot faster. :o
So he sent me a file, I had to enter some info in it first and then put it in my install folder. And it worked!!! Smile Smile Smile
Laptimes were cut in half and I was blindingly fast! 8)
Sadly things went haywire when someone posted it over at RSC and from then on, for some reason it became unusable. I still blame teh Wheatley for that... >Sad >Sad

So about a year ago, I found that particular file again and I started wondering if that clever friend could make it usable with rF2.
I emailed him and a couple of weeks later, he emailed me back and there it was, the little cheatfile ready for use in rF2. :-*
What's even greater about it now is that you can not only cut your laptime in half, but you can edge off any portion of it, so that it's not that noticable anymore. ;D

Now I believe I can trust you guys with this, that it will stay within our great SR4L Community, after all, we are friends right? Smile Smile
I attached the file to this post.

It's an ini, save it to your desktop. Then you'll have to rightclick and open it with notepad and then enter some data but it'll explain itself. Wink
Then put it in your rF2 core folder and presto, bye bye being a backmarker! 8)

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, thanks again and see ya later Wink Wink
