RE: oulton round 3 - deecee52 - 30-11-2020 Very impressed with DJ and ED getting thier tyres to last especially the softs i certainly couldnt , i found these cars heavy to haul around and very much a car you drove with your head not your feet , if you pushed hard they just went slower and started sliding as the tyres melted , for me it was a case of finding a balance between laptimes and tyre wear . I have to hold my hand up and say i am the guilty one who choose this car , and i think it was the wrong choice , i was a bit disapointed with the way this last race went , my theory in the Oulton series was that everyone would learn the track in sections so that by the time we got to the last race everyone new every inch of the track and so the last race would be a fast tight race on a fast open track , i blew it sorry guys . RE: oulton round 3 - bullwinkle - 30-11-2020 you did good deecee it was a good track and Car I think it would be fun for shorter races would be fun. I tried to race this last race but I have trouble with long races and I never did a long stint and even with med tires I was to 65 percent after only 10 laps so I just jumped out. I think we need to get the league going to bring some guys back. F1 and Football are a distraction. RE: oulton round 3 - J-P SImard - 03-12-2020 Personally I used the hard ones and I was able to push as I wanted throughout the race especially in the last stint where I had exactly the right amount of fuel unlike the first two stints. Unfortunately I ended up in the wall with a problem with my shifter stuck in 1st but I really liked this series of races on a magnificent track. Thank you. |
