Server up and running on ‘!SR4L-3 Wed Nite’

Gather from 7:00PM UK time (6:00 GMT, 8:00 CEST)
10 minutes Qualy starting at 7:30PM UK time (8:30 CET?) - unlimited laps.
Race length c. 10 mins (5 laps) - normal fuel & tyre usage

Racing usually continues to c. 9PM UK time (10PM CET?). Join anytime but be ready to race!

Finishing positions of each race will be reversed for the next starting grid.
Race sessions will be rapidly advanced to Warmup soon after the last racer has crossed the finish line.

Nominal warm-up between each race while grids are set - keep an eye on the chat window as if everyone is ready to go, we will… Shout out if you need a quick break.

In fixing the broken LiveRacers feed, I've taken the opportunity to tidy up the public server names a little so that admins (in particular) can more readily identify which server is which without guessing.

As a result, you may need to press the Refresh List button in the rF2 client when you look for active SR4L servers (or your previous search criteria might pick them up automatically anyway).

The new convention is for rf2 servers to start their public name with !SR4L-x where 'x' is the server index (1-4. 1 is usually the championship server. 3 the fun race server, 2 is (rarely) used for non-public testing and 4 is used for special events such as the Time Trial).

I broke the LiveRacers feed on Sunday while preparing for the Xmas Time Trial. Oops!

All servers (Round 5 champ server, Wed Night Fun and Xmas Time Trial *are* up and running in the rf2 server matchmaker but they aren’t feeding our LiveRacers page (the Fun server is - but only because it hasn’t been restarted since Sunday….)

I was unavailable yesterday due to age-related reasons but will endeavour to fix the problem this afternoon. Regardless of the state of LiveRacers, the rf2 servers do record lap times etc. themselves so no Time Trial entries should be lost.

The SR4L Assetto Corsa server has attracted a bit of attention (partly due to AC’s slightly friendlier race finder) but continues to run as an ‘experimental’ endeavour while we tweak and tune it with a view to possibly running some fun events in the future.

Our primary focus between now and the New Year will be on rf2, however and in order that server CPU and memory capacity can support the three rf2 servers we’ll need (F1 Champ server, Wednesday Night fun server - and soon-to-be-announced Mystery Competition Server ), the AC server will most likely be taken down until NY - just in case you’re searching for it.
